I had a blast with the RAZZ family! They were like most of my new clients, referred by a close friend of theirs.  When we met up we realized we had more in common than we thought.  We are both fire families which made this extra special for me.  I had so much fun with little man, Knox, his personality was the cutest.  He was my little buddy that day.  He's at south a fun age! They were all so easy going and just had fun together, I loved it.  I'm glad they decided to document this time in their young family's life.  The kids grow and change so quickly, they will have these images to cherish for years to come. Welcome to the world sweet baby Luke!  We've waited a long time for you! I had the honor of documenting this sweet boy with his family this week.  They are part of our fire family and we are blessed to have them in our lives.  This is the third time I've been asked to capture moments for them in the past few years, and I love it.  I love getting to spend time with them in their home, with their sweet boys and documenting this special time.  We laughed and we cried, all signs of a true friendship.  It's these kinds of connections that I live for and am so thankful to experience.  Enjoy some favs from their in home newborn session.

I loved getting to photograph the Mickley family once again! They are a sweet family and they have a lot of laughs together.  They make my job easy.  On top of that, mom does a great job of styling them so they always look fab!  We met up at one of my favorite natural parks for some family moments while they had their son home from college for the weekend.  It was great to catch up with him and see he's thriving at school.  It's always fun catching up with them.  Here are a few of our favs!

Miss Emma you complete your family!  I was excited to photograph the newest addition of this sweet fire family whom I'm happy to call my friends. When your daddy is a hero it's always fun to add a little personal touch.  Someday they will smile when they see she was so tiny that she fit in his helmet.  Little personal touches like this always make for the most meaningful images.  Don't you agree? I love that her big brothers and sister were in on the images too.  They were so proud to hold her and are just in love.  How could they not be with such a sweet baby sister to enjoy.  Welcome to the family Miss Emma! This.Family! I've loved watching them grow one by one over the years.  It's such a blessing to have clients who value the memories that I create for them.  I've lost track of how many times I've photographed them, it's so fun to see their images proudly displayed in their home.  I was excited to capture the newest addition, Miss Emma this past week.  She is literally a living doll.  Not a peep out of her the entire session and she is so perfect I almost died! And big brother is one of my favorite little humans.  This kid cracks me up every time I see him.  I remember when he was a tiny peanut like his sissy and now he's the big boy.  Man time flies, I'm so glad this mama is intentional about documenting her littles childhood. That light though!  I love this dreamy sunlight captured with this family! This was the third time capturing moments for the Cortez family and each time is a treat!  We had fun playing with the girls and capturing the little moments of childhood.  We finished with a  few shots with daddy's car, a Ford Falcon Futura!
