Carly {Class of 2017} | High School Memories | Fallbrook Senior Photographer

I loved photographing this ballerina! Carly is a beautiful girl with a cute personality!  We met up at the Grand Tradition in Fallbrook for her senior session.  I must say, she has great taste in venues! I was married here almost 18 years ago and I fell in love with the storybook setting just like Carly and her mama.  She brought a couple different looks along with a bag of shoes (my kinda girl) and in that bag she also had pointe shoes!  I'm always amazed at dancers.  That's one thing I wish I had done when I was young.  Dancers are so cool!  It was fun to capture her in her pointe shoes doing her thing.  She's so graceful yet strong in her poses.  We had a great time wandering the gardens and getting to know each other a bit.  Cheers to you Carly! Enjoy the rest of your senior year!  Here are a few favs from her session..

Baby E Turns One | Simply Babies | Carlsbad Family Photographer

I can't believe it's been a year since I first photographed this handsome little guy and his parents.  Where does the time go?  I was thrilled to photograph Baby E for his 1st birthday at the family home.    Mom came up with all the decorations and props and it's so cute.  Baby E wasn't a fan of the cake smash, but we captured some precious moments of them together in their yard.  Happy 1st Birthday buddy! Looking forward to capturing you for years to come!  Here are a few favs of this precious little guy!

Lindsey {Class of 2017} | High School Memories | Temecula Senior Photographer

Lindsey is just so sweet.  I had an amazing time meeting her and capturing her senior portraits.  We had amazing weather for her session at Longshadow Winery in Temecula Valley, it was warm and sunny and lovely.  This was my first time shooting at the winery and it was great. We had a great time wandering the property, through the vineyards and around the tasting room.  I'm so proud of this girl! She is committed to play volleyball at Oregon State in the fall of 2017.  You have an amazing future ahead of you Lindsey!  Go get it girl!  Enjoy a few favs from her session in the vineyard.

Ericson Family | Family Moments | Carlsbad Family Photographer

I had so much fun with this adorable family!  They are a funny bunch full of spunk and sass.  We started off with Jared and he had me in tears laughing at his antics.  He's a stud! And miss Nicki... I wanted to bring her home with me.  She's adorable! Mom and Dad were just as cute together!  I love it when the rents are so in love and have a great relationship.  It makes for a fun session.  Last but not least I captured images of Colin, and can I say this guy is tough.  Poor guy had a horrible cold but he stuck it out and was just so easy going and kind.  He's gonna be great boyfriend material someday! I loved meeting this family and capturing the essence of who they are.  Enjoy some of the favs from their family session on the ranch.

Samantha | Class of 2017 Senior Model Team | San Diego Senior Photographer

Meet Samantha, one of my beautiful Class of 2017 senior models!  I'm so glad Sam applied to my program and I had the opportunity to capture her senior photos!  She's a beautiful young woman, that speaks for itself.  But when we met for her senior session, I got to see the kind, funny and sweet person that she is.  We had a great time wandering around the park capturing moments.  We laughed when she said she was struggling with creating a certain look, she said "I'm just good at selfies!" LOL She IS great at selfies, me not so much.  But I loved that because that means she is comfortable in front of the camera and feels good about her photos.  Photographers would not have known what selfie was 5 years ago, which just goes to show how quickly this industry {and the world} is changing.  Photographing seniors keeps me on the edge, they know what's new and cool and I love soaking up that youthful knowledge while I spend time with them.  Enjoy some of my favs from Samantha's senior session in the park!
