Cruising' HWY 101 | ROLEmodel19 | Wendy Childress Photography Seniors

Come with me, let's take a trip back in time and cruise on into the 1950's! This styled shoot was so much fun to plan and photograph!  Who doesn't love the decade where rock and roll was born, when rebellious teens let loose and had fun cruising the highways and stopping at their favorite diner to hang with their friends?

WCP ROLEmodels19 team knocked this shoot out of the park.  From the makeup, to the hairstyles, to the wardrobe styling and accessories, I couldn't be more happy! I love the pops of color that were so popular in the 50's together with the matte black of the 1950 Ford Shoebox car that we had the privilege of shooting with.  It was the final touch that made this shoot so cool.

The girls gathered at my home to help each other get ready while some went to get a special hair style done at Rebel Rebel Hair Salon.  It's always fun to have a house full of girls laughing and chatting it up.  This is a big part of what makes the ROLEmodel team experience so much fun! When the girls were ready we headed downtown to a historic diner and let the fun begin!  Take a few minutes and enjoy some of my favs!

This girl! She's a bit of sunshine!  I had a great time capturing Kayla's senior portraits.  I've known this girl and her family since she and my daughter were in 1st grade.  I've had the opportunity to photograph their family multiple times and was happy to photograph her for her senior year.  She's a fun girl and can laugh at her self, as shown in the first image.  We had some good belly laughs as she twirled in that field.  She's about to embrace a new chapter in her life, and I know she's gonna kick butt. Congrats Kayla! Here are a few of our favs!

Molly | Class of 2018 | Oceanside Senior Photographer

Miss Molly you are gorgeous! What a fun day we had for Molly's Ultimate boutique experience! We started off the day meeting at Blues and Shoes in Carlsbad village for her personal styling session.  She found that cute blue dress at Blues and then was styled in the overalls outfit from Ragz Revolution, their sister store! It was the perfect combo for her urban/beach senior session. We got her glammed up and ready for the shoot at Makeup By Adrianne and then we headed downtown.  I love all of Molly's looks! Noelle | Class of 2018 | Vista Senior Photographer

This girl! She's just gorgeous! I'm so happy I got to photograph Noelle! She's a firefighter daughter in our department, I love photographing fire family! We met up at a location that was new to me, but familiar to her.  Her family visits this nursery and garden every Mothers day.  I think its special that she wanted her senior portraits at the same location!  It was the perfect spot for her!
