This was such a fun senior session for me! Nicholas is the second child I've photographed from this family so it was good to see them again.  I was so stoked when mom told me he wanted to shoot at the airport!  He just received his pilots license and wanted to include that in his shoot.  Perfect!  We met up in the terminal and he walked us out to the plane he trained on. He was so cute as he taught me a bit about planes, which I knew nothing about other than they miraculously fly in the sky. He's obviously passionate about flying and will be flying commercial airlines someday. Good for him for following his dream!  Here are some favs from his senior session on the tarmac.

Welcome to the world sweet baby Luke!  We've waited a long time for you! I had the honor of documenting this sweet boy with his family this week.  They are part of our fire family and we are blessed to have them in our lives.  This is the third time I've been asked to capture moments for them in the past few years, and I love it.  I love getting to spend time with them in their home, with their sweet boys and documenting this special time.  We laughed and we cried, all signs of a true friendship.  It's these kinds of connections that I live for and am so thankful to experience.  Enjoy some favs from their in home newborn session.

I'm so glad these people came into my life this year! Not only are they a fun loving family but they are believers and I love their heart for God.  I came in contact with the Hadden's through a mutual friend and we hit it off instantly. I loved getting to know them while capturing their family moments at Leo Carrillo Ranch in Carlsbad.  It's such a fun place with so many different areas to photograph, and those blue doors are a favorite!  We wandered about and had some laughs.  I love it when a family just has fun together.
