My patriotic heart beats red, white and blue! I had the best time meeting my new ROLEmodel21 team in person for the first time and getting to photograph them.  COVID has really put a wrench in 2020 and these girls have been troopers through it all.  Our normal meet & greet was done on Zoom and we've messaged back and forth until now.  Now I get to see their smiling faces and get to know them a bit.  I love how vibrant patriotic shoots are.  They are fun and full of joy and I'm here for that! Where do I begin? When I first met this beautiful young woman she was just a high school junior applying to my senior model program.  At the time her instagram bio said she would be the first woman United States President! Ambitious? Yes! But you haven't met AJ.  She embodies all the qualities of a strong, powerful, kind woman and she is going places! I had the pleasure of getting to know her during her senior year as one of my model team girls and have continued the relationship into her college years.  I was over the moon when she asked me to come to UCLA to do her grad photos.  It was the year of Covid, so our March session was postponed, but we got to work as soon as the stay-at-home order was lifted. This girl graduated from UCLA in just 3 years!  That's how awesome she is. Now that is worth a celebration! She is setting her goals on becoming a Supreme Court Justice and I have no doubt she will make that dream a reality.  Congratulations AJ! You are a bright and shining light and I wish you all the best in your endeavors! Go Bruins!
