Meet my beautiful niece and my adorable nephew! We did a mini session with these two goofy kids just in time for holiday cards.  It was my first time shooting in this location so I was excited my sister agreed!  We wandered around and found tons of cool little areas with texture and character.  I love the finding cool rustic backdrops for my sessions!  We had a blast with these two, they kept me laughing the whole time. I just love them both so much!  Enjoy a few shots from their mini session.

 I've known Cindy since we were kids, our sisters are the same age and have been friends since elementary school.  It was cool when we reconnected on Facebook a few years back.  It's always fun to catch up with old friends, turns out our daughters are the same age and even went to church camp together!  It's a small world I tell ya! So this is her awesome family!  We met up at the Old Bonsall Bridge for their session and I was excited to shoot there.  It has cracked concrete, gritty asphalt, a little graffiti and is surrounded by trees below.  I'm so glad they trusted me to try a new place.  Their images turned out great, I think you will agree.  Enjoy their session.

The Horton family... they are our very best friends!  We love this family!  We share so many things, our faith, our love of camping at the beach, our love of mexican food..I could go on and on.  I've watched these two kids grow up since they were toddlers and I am amazed that Tay is graduating high school in the spring and that Tan just got his license! What? How did that happen?  For their session we went to Leo Carrillo Ranch in Carlsbad.  Its so cool there.  It's very rustic as you can see and you can roam for hours, you'll probably run into a few peacocks along the way too!  Here are some of my favorites from their shoot!
