Winner! Winner! Chicken Dinner! Well unfortunately there was no chicken dinner involved, but this cute family was the winner of a Mini Session giveaway that I held at Temple Heights' Freaky Friday event.  I was super excited when I learned who the winner was.  I first met Mom and the boys  at the Freaky Friday event and I immediately knew they were an awesome family!  This was perfect timing, as their hero dad/husband was about to be deployed.  Mom had wanted to get family photos done before he left so this couldn't have been better timing.  Thank you Tim for your service, you are an amazing example of bravery and honor for your three young boys and those who know you.  Thank you Emily for your service as a military wife, I know that can't be easy yet you do it with grace.  It was my pleasure meeting you all and a pleasure to offer my small contribution in making your family moments special. It was my pleasure to photograph this beautiful mama and her kids again this fall.  When I  hear the term Super Mom this is who I think of.  She is one of the most loving, involved and dedicated moms I know.  These awesome kids are living proof!  She had asked for a "fall-like" location for their session and this was the first place that came to mind.  In SoCal, we don't get to see too much of the season changes that happen further east.  It's something we long for, a sign that another season is coming.  I have to admit, I'm kinda in love with the photos taken in the leaves.  It makes me happy, I want to snuggle up and drink a cup of something yummy!  Take a moment to enjoy some of my favs from this session!
