Ashley | Beautiful Child | San Diego Portrait Photographer

Wow! What a beautiful girl Ashley is!  Her momma contacted me to do some headshots of her girl because she is interested in modeling.  I think this girl is model material!  She's  only 11 years old but she is mature beyond her years.  She was great in front of the camera and was so great to work with.  She's a natural beauty and her soul is just as beautiful!  We met up at the ranch to capture some lifestyle images of her.  Here are a few of my favs!

Teen Style Photo Magazine Cover Contest Winner!

You guys I'm so thrilled to be chosen as this weeks Teen Style Photo Magazine cover winner!  I recently submitted an image of beautiful Olivia [click for Olivia's session} and this week it was showcased and entered into a cover contest for the online magazine.  After receiving over 300 likes (votes) my image is the winner!  Now my image is going to be entered into the Elite cover contest and will be judged by a well know pro in the industry.  That's pretty cool!  If you voted for me and Olivia, thanks so much! And here is the image! I love her expression!  Its the perfect sunlit summer image of carefree days.  I love the movement in her hair and her dress.  And even more, I love that it was her idea to spin in the field for the last shots of her session!

Olivia | Sweet and Sassy | San Marcos Portrait Photographer

Miss Olivia was such a sweet girl to photograph!  My family has known her since she was 8 years old when she and my daughter played on the same All Star Softball team.  The girls have been friends ever since.  Olivia got to do her own personal shoot just for fun, and we had a great time.  She and her mom wanted something a little fancier and modern and then also that sweet girl in the field look.  We were able to pull both looks off and I'm super happy with her images!  The field images are my fav! That light and the glowy tall grass are magical.  An added bonus was that one of her images won a cover contest for an online magazine! Yay! Styled Session | Retail Therapy Boutique | Carlsbad Photographer

This little miss is such a beauty!  It was my pleasure to work with her and her parents for her portfolio session.  Meeting strangers is scary sometimes for kids, but once Shiloh warmed up to me we were on a roll!  We captured some beautiful images of her sweet little face and captured her little personality too!
