Capturing high school seniors is one of my favorite things to do.  They are on the cusp of becoming an adult yet have the spark of a child in their heart.  It was my absolute pleasure to photograph this beauty a few weeks ago.  She is confident, beautiful and has a great personality!  We photographed her session at a little vintage boutique in Carlsbad and it was the perfect fit for her!  We had fun with all the vintage props and backdrops.   Jess, I wish you all the best as you venture out into this big world.  You have an amazing quality about you that I just know will bring you to great opportunities! Congrats on being part of the Class of 2014!

Winner! Winner! Chicken Dinner! Well unfortunately there was no chicken dinner involved, but this cute family was the winner of a Mini Session giveaway that I held at Temple Heights' Freaky Friday event.  I was super excited when I learned who the winner was.  I first met Mom and the boys  at the Freaky Friday event and I immediately knew they were an awesome family!  This was perfect timing, as their hero dad/husband was about to be deployed.  Mom had wanted to get family photos done before he left so this couldn't have been better timing.  Thank you Tim for your service, you are an amazing example of bravery and honor for your three young boys and those who know you.  Thank you Emily for your service as a military wife, I know that can't be easy yet you do it with grace.  It was my pleasure meeting you all and a pleasure to offer my small contribution in making your family moments special. I was so happy when this family asked me to photograph them!  After having an awful experience with a Groupon photographer, they were looking for a professional who could offer a pleasant photo session experience and deliver beautiful images in a timely manner...not to much to expect really.  Unfortunately too many people have had that awful experience.  We had a wonderful session and they had fun as you can see from their images.  This little guy melted my heart, ending the session with a kiss blown my way!  Such a wonderful way to end my day.
