Josie | Blues & Shoes Ultimate Boutique Experience | Carlsbad Senior Photographer

Ahhh! This was such a fun day!  Josie got the ultimate boutique experience and I'm so excited she did.  We started the day out meeting at Blues & Shoes Boutique for her personal styling session with Tess.  It was so much fun helping pick possible outfits for Josie as she tried things on and made a decision on her favs.  After that she followed me to The Shop Beauty and Art where Natasha got her camera ready.  This girl is stunning and didn't need much, but who doesn't  like to be pampered? She got her professional makeup and hair done and then we stopped for a quick bite to eat before we headed south.  Josie is a bit of a fashionista and so she brought along her own fav outfit which was a new thrift store find! Love that! I'm a total thrifter too! We had a great time wandering the streets of North Park for her urban inspired session.  It was the perfect location for this spunky, Jesus loving girl.  One of my favorite things about Josie is what she told me in her senior questionnaire.  I ask my seniors what their favorite feature is and she answered the sweetest, most heartfelt answer. "Overall I'm pretty confident in who I am because of whose I am, my favorite feature of myself isn't anything physical, my favorite feature is how I'm able to remind people of their purpose." Olivia is not only stunning, she is a sweetheart!  This girl has a heart of gold, you can tell when you chat with her that she's deeply compassionate about people.  She's a quiet girl until you can get to know her a bit, then she will be your loyal friend.  She's got a fierce sense of style, and her face lights up when she talks about fashion and makeup! I can count on her to come to any photoshoot looking like a super model! I'm loving the opportunity to get to know her and look forward to many more adventures with  her.

I'm excited to start sharing my Class of 2017 Senior Model Team with all of you!  These girls were selected from over 30 applications to the program.  They are smart, sweet, funny, athletic, talented, loving, beautiful young women who have come alongside me to raise awareness of my brand and vision.  I'm so blessed to have built a reputation with these ladies that speaks for itself.

AJ was my first session of the year!  She is a stunning young woman with huge aspirations and she's a true leader.  She is involved in ASB, California Scholarship Federation, Peer Leaders Uniting Students and IB Club! Thats impressive! She also founded and is the president of the Adulting Club on her campus. How amazing is she?  She is a genuine soul with a flair for fashion and makeup!  It was a privilege to photograph her in her urban element.  We had a great time getting to know each other and capturing images from her senior year. Good golly Miss Molly! This girl is so sweet!  I'm so glad her mom chose to have me photograph her senior portraits!  We shot at two different locations and it was great.  We started at Balboa Park and then headed into the city to get some shots with the city lights.  Congratulations Molly on your graduation!  Have the time of your life at SFSU this fall!!
